Ive yet to eat a hole fried crab i want to so bad
I cooked frozen peeled shrimp BUT they look white when cooked , how to get them orange ?
1:09 very relaxing voice
STRAIGHT to the point.....I love that!! (BTW...my shrimp came out just PERFECT!!!!)
Nice to see I'm not the only one looking at this from 10+year old youtube vids lol😂😅 about to try this in an hour!
@@Vortec.Z32how was it?
@치추이 I actually switched to doing an airfryer was sooo much better and can be cooked raw straight from frozen into the airfryer!
A proper Southern lady cooking a heritage food. Well done.
Very nice
Good stuff. Sometimes you wanna just wanna cook a ton of shrimp without sautéing or broiling them
Guts and all? Morbid people
Do they necessarily have to be live??? I bought some and froze them. Will they come out the same after I thaw them out before I put them in the hot water???
The four-person cast was Vince Bishop, Donna McCoy, Gary Nyblack and Frederic Kahler, who designed the poster.
Thank you! Looks great!
1:11-1:20 Remember seeing this on the local tv station at St. George island . Bring back good memories, can’t wait to visit soon !🤗😊
Thanks for that information, I'm going to try it that way.
Great video. Now I’m ready to BOIL
Love videos like this!!!! It's perfect!! Straight to the point!!
I love your food. This recipe rocks!
Great video. I appreciate you got straight to the point. This minute and a half video provides all the pertinent and useful information that one needs to cook shrimp. So many of those other "how to cook shrimp" videos provide the same information but somehow need upwards of 15 or more minutes to do it.
Where is the recipe?
Great Recipe FFC!!! this is how we in the South do Frozen Shrimp... For the "Perfect" Shrimp... in a large pot add COLD water and add Frozen Shrimp then turn stove on HIGH and once the water IS 180 degrees, REMOVE and strain then add ICE and Cold Water... we do it this way, so the shrimp are thawed out slowly... works every time!!! 💋 #Perfection
My favorite and there's always lots of them around easy to catch
Do you eat the claws whole?
Video quality is terrible.
My birthday is 3#'s of shrimp to boil and an 18pk of Corona's. That's my gift to myself 😎❤️🦐
Wait 3/4 cup of salt
😎
Not enough seasoning girlfriend but thanks 😘
Great. I'm looking up where Eastpoint is now. I'd never heard of it before and it looks like my kind of place if it's not too touristy.
Looks yummie, gonna try. I get my oysters from Island Creek Oysters. Big Lew BBQ also has a great recipe :)
Should I de-vein them? Maybe that's a personal choice.
I always do
I love you Hope all is well with you ❤ 💕 💗 💛
Why did you drain the oysters? I never do.
In Louisiana, I would be run out of town cooking shrimp this way. Shrimp need to soak to pick up the flavor. Where is the crab and shrimp boil?
You definitely would!!!
like old day fish lime fri cook it safe fish for rod reel mullet hard day
Maryland we stuff them with crab meat in the middle and damn is it good
This guy knows the fishing spots and species. nice video. Thanks
I am watching this many years later, as it is July 2021, but I have NEVER seen anyone or ever NOT added all the oyster liquor in myself with the stew...that is where so much flavor is as well.
Wtf
Too bad the oyster business is almost gone since this video was produced.
Danny!
That mullet fish looks delicious
Watching these at 3am lol haha. Look at those comments 8yrs ago
Nice, to the point video. Thanks. But, gotta add Zatarains crab boil. Really, you have to do this. Don't get the liquid stuff in a bottle, it's wimpy. Use the boil bag in the box.....don't even THINK of substituting that Mccormick crap either.
I made this recipe recently, best flounder I've ever eaten. Period. Watched it again today to try it on 2 mangrove snappers I caught today!
what about the entrails?
I love this show!
This is a great recipe. The scoring really does allow the flavor in and speeds the cooking. Thanks!
We grew up using the pancake mix for the skin !!!so yummy
Yep
Very simple...im about to try it this way
Not how we do it in Virginia
That's what I said lol
As close to our “beachcomber “ method as I’ve seen. Lots of the guys on the NWFl panhandle gulf coast carry a supply of peanut oil, cornmeal, salt & black pepper in our trucks......... I’ve got a large cast iron skillet and the portable burner. When cooking on the sea wall at Ft Pickens, sometimes the wind off the Gulf needs to be dampened a little. Dad always had a large box flattened out for that. late fifties and sixties memories as a kid on the gulf coast...........yumyum
